Schedule of Fees and Rebates

Last updated January 2026

I aim to make my services accessible and transparent. Below you’ll find a clear breakdown of my session fees and the various funding options available to support your journey.

Session Fees

A standard session is $240. This includes a 50-minute face-to-face session plus 10 minutes of non-face-to-face time for essential administrative tasks like session planning and note-taking.

An after-hours session is $260. After-hours refers to weekdays from 5pm and anytime on weekends and public holidays.

Sometimes extra work is needed outside your session. Out-of-session support (writing letters or reports, liaising with family, other administrative tasks) is charged separately at the standard or after-hours rate. This will be discussed and quoted with you prior to commencement.

Medicare Rebates

If you have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) or an Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan (EDP) from your GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $87.25 per session. This significantly reduces your out-of-pocket cost.

Relationship and family therapy sessions are not eligible for Medicare rebates.

NDIS

I welcome NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed and have funding allocated for social work and therapeutic support within the capacity building plan category.

If you live in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Coolgardie, Kambalda East, Kambalda West, or another NDIA-classified Remote location (MM6), fees for therapy, support activities and travel are billed at the same rate as non-NDIS participants.

If you live in a NDIA-classified Very Remote location (MM7), fees for services are billed at the standard rate of $290.99 per hour, in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Pricing Limits.

Please use the Health Workforce Locator app to confirm your location’s classification.

WorkCover WA

If you have an approved WorkCover WA claim, your counselling sessions may be covered by your insurer. WorkCover sessions are charged at the standard rate of $240 per hour, which includes any necessary out-of-session support. Please ensure your claim is approved and you have your claim number, insurer details, and a current referral from your GP before commencing sessions.

Private Health Insurance

Many private health funds, such as Bupa, HCF, Medibank, Teachers Health, and Doctors’ Health, offer rebates for psychological services. We recommend contacting your private health fund directly to understand your specific entitlements. Please note that Medicare rebates and private health rebates cannot be claimed simultaneously for the same session.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that life happens and plans can change. To respect both your time and mine, I ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  • More than 48 hours’ notice: No cancellation fee applies.

  • Between 48 and 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the session fee will be charged.

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show: The full session fee (100%) will be charged.

If travel has already been completed for outreach or home visits, travel costs will also apply. Please note that Medicare rebates do not apply to cancellation fees.

I understand that unexpected situations, illness, or emergencies can arise. In these cases, fees may be waived at my discretion.

If cancellations or missed sessions occur frequently, I may review your therapy goals and your capacity to engage in ongoing sessions. If we can’t find a workable solution, I may discuss discharging you from the service to ensure clinical appropriateness and availability for other clients.
